Welcome to Atomic Learning. We appreciate your trust in us and respect the importance of your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information through our website (atomiclearning.app), iOS app, and Android app (collectively referred to as 'Atomic Learning' or 'the Service').
1. Information We Collect
Atomic Learning does not require an account and does not collect your name or email address in the app. When you use the app, we collect usage data (such as the challenges you complete, your scores and streaks, and your app and target language), device information (such as device model, operating system, app version and approximate location derived from your IP address), crash reports, and your purchase history (processed by Apple or Google; we never see your payment details). If you contact us by email, we receive the email address you write from. On our website, we measure visits with Google Analytics and Amplitude: the pages you view, the practice you try, which store link you click, and the campaign that brought you (for example utm parameters). If you arrive from one of our Google ads, Google Ads also records whether you then click a store link, using a cookie that holds the ad click identifier. They use cookies and similar browser storage. Visitors in Europe are asked for consent first, and nothing is measured if you decline.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to provide, operate, and maintain our website and mobile applications; improve, personalize, and expand our services; understand and analyze how you use our services; develop new products, services, features, and functionality; communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the Service, and for marketing and promotional purposes; process your transactions; and find and prevent fraud.
3. Third-Party Services
We do not show ads. We advertise on Google and measure those ads: on our website with Google Ads (described above), and in our apps with Google Analytics for Firebase, which records installs, app opens and purchases under an app instance identifier. On iOS the app asks whether you allow tracking, and this data is used to measure our Google ads (together with the iOS advertising identifier) only if you allow it. On Android it is used for that unless you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, where it never is, on either platform. You can change this at any time in your device settings (iOS: Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Google → Ads). To run the Service we also use: Amplitude (product analytics), RevenueCat (subscriptions and purchases), Firebase Crashlytics, Firestore and Remote Config by Google (crash reports and app content), and the Google Cloud Translation and Text-to-Speech APIs (when you ask for a translation or play a word, that text is sent to Google). Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy.
4. Security
We use commercially reasonable efforts to protect your personal information and ensure the security of our systems. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

By using our website or mobile applications, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use our Service.
6. Changes To This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the 'Last updated' date. For significant changes, we may also notify you via email or through an in-app notification. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
